Before John Updike and Richard Yates, John Cheever dissected the pleasures and agony of suburban life. Rodolphe Dana adapts Cheever’s fourth novel to the stage, collaborating with the writer Laurent Mauvigner and the Collective Les Possédés. In this tale centered on the Nailles family, the space of the suburbs reflects the uncertainties of modern life.
