The Centro de Artes da Mare, founded by Lia Rodrigues, is a space dedicated to art, training and social empowerment, set at the heart of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas. For this new production, Lia Rodrigues asked eleven dancers to improvise on their personal experiences, whether real or imagined. The work attempts to organize the proliferating images of our social lives into a provisional order.
