DV8 (for Dance and Video 8) merges dance and documentary forms to confront the “taboos” of our democratic societies. To what extent can we talk about such issues as religion, multiculturalism or racism? What are the mechanisms of censorship? Based on interviews and archival footage, fueled by the reflections of journalists and sociologists, the work opens a space for debate.
