The Festival d’Automne à Paris artistic and cultural education projects aimed at young people
Every year, the Festival d’Automne à Paris carries out an innovative, ambitious artistic and cultural education policy aimed at widening access to artistic creation. In particular, this policy hinges on the Festival’s capacity to forge links with its different partners (cultural venues, ministries, town councils, associations, foundations, patrons, and artists) and to rally them around this collective goal.
The Festival, enhanced by the nomad-like specificities of its mission, collaborates with around forty cultural venues in Paris and île de France outlying areas, and participates in contemporary artistic creation from France and the rest of the world. Ranging from theatre, dance, music, visual arts, and performance to cinema, the Festival has developed a series of projects giving young spectators the opportunity to discover different venues and disciplines, meet with directors, composers, visual artists and choreographers and to take part in workshops run by these artists. This provides a host of opportunities to awaken their curiosity, gain confidence, bolster their knowledge and increase self-fulfillment.
This year, the Festival d’Automne is proposing, an ensemble of artistic and cultural education projects aimed at young people, from primary school up to university level, in the spirit of discovery, transmission and sharing.
