Anacarsis Ramos

Playwright, set designer, director and actor. He studied theatre and sociology. A member of the Porno-tráfico theatre company, his work explores the relationship between social reality and its representation in the media, with a particular focus on the various uses of fiction in state, private and community contexts. Through lyricism, humour and parody, his works shed light on the narrative construction of reality and reveal the biases inherent in processes of representation. Alongside his stage projects, he coordinates various educational and theatre research initiatives. He also writes about theatre on the Mataclase blog.
