Felwine Sarr

Born in 1972 in Niodior, Felwine Sarr is a Senegalese economist, academic, writer and musician. From economics, which he taught at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis (Senegal), to African philosophy, which he now teaches at Duke University (United States), he examines the transformations of the contemporary world in the light of thinking informed by the questions, experiences and knowledge of the African continent and the global South.
