Franck Moka
Franck Moka is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kisangani (DRC), working across sound, music, video, film, and installation. A self-taught electronic music composer, he trained in theatre with Faustin Linyekula and Jean-Paul Delore, and in film with Gaël Teicher. He composes for the stage with Dorine Mokha, Faustin Linyekula, Elia Rediger, and the collective 50.50. He created the soundtrack and visuals for My Body My Archives and the sound design for Tongo Saa (Nelson Makengo, 2024). His work has been shown at the Lubumbashi Biennale and Kunsthalle Mainz. His short film Home Sweet Home (2021) premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. He is currently developing his first feature film, Mars & Gath, along with several short films. An associate artist with Studios Kabako, he has been its artistic coordinator since 2021.
