Kenza Berrada
Born in Morocco, where she grew up until the age of 17, Kenza Berrada is an author, director and actress. After studying acting at the Cours Simon and Florent, she went on to complete a Master’s degree in modern literature and cultural mediation at the Sorbonne. From childhood, she was drawn to the theatre, before exploring African dance with Elsa Wolliaston and stage design at the Jacques Lecoq School. She has been collaborating with the director Alexander Zeldin for over ten years. She wrote, directed and performed in Boujloud (l’homme aux peaux), which was staged at the Théâtre de la Bastille and the Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe, amongst other venues. In 2026, she took part in the arts and culture education project *Adolescence et territoire* and is preparing a play as part of this initiative, which will be staged at the Odéon, the T2G and the Espace 1789 in Saint-Ouen.
