Rébecca Chaillon

Rébecca Chaillon is a director, writer, performer and member of the RER Q collective. Her work lies at the intersection of theatre, performance and poetry. She enjoys exploring the desires and forms of violence that affect the body, infusing her work with great love, humour and food. Founded in 2006, La Compagnie Dans Le Ventre develops artistic research centred on marginalised identities. Addressing themes that are at once intimate, political and universal, her work takes various forms, such as L’Estomac dans la peau (2011), Où la chèvre est attachée, il faut qu’elle broute (2018), Carte noire nommée désir (2021), Plutôt vomir que faillir (2022) and La Gouineraie (2025), co-written with Sandra Calderan. Rébecca Chaillon is an associate artist at the TnBA and the Théâtre Public de Montreuil. Her work is published by L’Arche Éditeur.
