Yala Kisukidi Nadia

Nadia Yala Kisukidi is a French philosopher specialising in the thought of Henri Bergson and postcolonial studies. She teaches at the University of Paris 8 and New York University. She was co-curator of the Yango 2 contemporary art biennial in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo) from 2020 to 2022. Her books include Bergson ou l'humanité créatrice (Editions du CNRS, 2013). With the Brazilian feminist philosopher Djamila Ribeiro, she has published Dialogue Transatlantique (Paris, Anacaona, 2021). Under the supervision of Pierre Singaravelou, she coordinated with historians Mélanie Lamotte, Arthur Asseraf and Guillaume Blanc the book Colonisations. Notre histoire (Paris, Seuil, 2023). In 2022, she wrote her first novel, La Dissociation, published by Seuil.
