Béla Bartók / György Kurtág / Mark Andre

Belá Bartók/György Kurtág/
Mark Andre

    • Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris
      November 15

“I cannot see shapes, and I don’t remember them, but I feel safe knowing that they are around.” [György Kurtág]  “New Messages” come from a world out of joint, between style and state, form and fate, conveying a sense of concentration, solitude and distress. Mark Andre has chosen radical fragmentation for his triptych – ...auf... – with brittle sounds, instrumental explosions and subtle clusters of electronic rustling.
