As her longstanding commitment in Rio de Janeiro’s favelas has shown, choreographer Lia Rodrigues’ practice involves all aspects surrounding creation, from training to critical assessment. It is in line with this work process that she and her 11 dancers have conceived this evocation of the relationships between the collective and the singular.
