Xavier Le Roy Low Pieces
[Dance]
Xavier Le Roy presents us with a community devoid of humaneness, appearing at times mechanical, and at times animal or plant-like. Performed by 9 dancers, the series of tableaux suggest other forms of being in the world, and challenge the separation between object and subject, human and non human. The piece opens and ends with a discussion with the audience, questioning our social positions.
