Event organized as part of the Saison Brésil-France 2025.
Inspired by the eponymous work of the French anthropologist Bruce Albert and the Yanomami shaman Davi Kopenawa, La Chute du Ciel takes us to the heart of the cosmology of this people.
The Yanomami, from the Brazilian Amazon, are fighting a fierce battle to preserve their territory and their ancestral way of life in the face of the threat of the "people of the commodity".
Through the powerful discourse of Davi Kopenawa, shaman and spokesperson for his community, the film offers a deep immersion in their cosmology and echoes an urgent call to save the forest and redefine our relationship with nature.
