Antoine Mermet
Antoine Mermet is a musician, composer, improviser, and multidisciplinary artist. His work spans the fields of concert performance, dance, theatre, visual arts, and performance. He develops a practice combining saxophone, voice, and electronic instruments. A co-founder of the group CHROMB !, he also leads several personal projects, including the sextet Saint Sadrill, solo performances, and vocal collaborations. He regularly composes for the stage and works with choreographers, directors, and visual artists. Since 2018, he has notably collaborated with visual artist Tiphaine Calmettes on installations and sound environments. His work with choreographer Nitsan Margaliot has led him to compose for dance, design performative installations, and take part in several creations as a performer and dancer. In 2025, he composes the music for Quelque Chose by choreographer Chloé Zamboni.
