Ewa Dziarnowska

Ewa Dziarnowska is a Polish dancer and choreographer. Based in Berlin, she works at the intersection of performance and research. Her recent projects, including This resting, patience, reflect an ongoing investigation into improvisation as both a method and a philosophy. She is particularly interested in how movement can generate knowledge and resist the pressures of productivity. Her practice unfolds in real time, balancing precision and spontaneity while questioning the social and aesthetic frameworks through which dance is produced, observed, and circulated. As a performer, audiences at the Festival d’Automne were able to see her in Alex Baczyński-Jenkins’ Untitled (Holding Horizon). She has also collaborated with Michele Rizzo, Enad Marouf, and Elena Francalanci. Ewa Dziarnowska’s work has been presented at numerous European festivals and institutions, including the International Dance Festival in Munich and, more recently, Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels.
