In September 2023, Mathis, a 9-year-old schoolboy near Charleroi, was subjected to racist insults from his classmates. He reacts angrily and, considering the situation beyond their control, the school decides to call the police. On arriving at the school, his mother, Rita, is greeted with her son being pinned to the ground by a police officer.

In line with Laurène Marx's pared-down theatre, Jag stands alone in front of a microphone separating her from the audience and delivers a stand-up act tinged with sadness. She tells of her return to the environment she originates from, the white working class population of Isère.

With its directness and an aesthetic drawing upon that of auto-fictional performance art, Laurène Marx exposes the reality of gender transitions in France. Alone on stage, she performs her own text, mixing theatre and stand-up tinged with sadness. The piece denounces the violence and discrimination experienced by transgender individuals.
