Silvia Calderoni

Silvia Calderoni is an actress and performer. She began training with choreographer Monica Francia and Teatro Valdoca, performing in several productions including Paesaggio con fratello rotto. A member of Motus since 2006, she has appeared in numerous works such as Alexis. Una tragedia greca, Nella tempesta, MDLSX, and Tutto brucia, presented at major national and international festivals. She starred in The Plot is the Revolution with Judith Malina of The Living Theatre, and returned to Teatro Valdoca in 2022 for Enigma. Requiem per Pinocchio. She received the Ubu Award for Best Actress Under 30 in 2009. On screen, she played the lead in Davide Manuli’s cult film La leggenda di Kaspar Hauser (2012), and appeared in Last Words (2020) by Jonathan Nossiter, the Sky series Romulus, and Non mi uccidere (2021) by Andrea De Sica. She is an associate artist of the Queering Platform, Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong.
