Continuing the “companionship” begun in 2000, the festival presents three new works by Italian maestro Sciarrino, along with works by two younger composers. Thomalla’s work is conceptual and rigorous, whereas Combier displays a painter’s sensibility that takes the listener on a poetic journey.
