Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart / Jörg Widmann Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart/
[Music] This second of three concerts devoted to Jörg Widmann – the last in the Louvre’s ‘‘Boundaries’’ series – features two clarinet quintets written two hundred years apart. In a timeless dialogue, Mozart makes use of all of the instrument’s expressive potential, while Widmann’s music demonstrates his inexhaustible inspiration, his admirable combination of tones and effects and a fruitful relationship with the history of music.Credits
