[Music]
The final concert in the Gerard Pesson cycle explores an essential aspect of his work and the relationship with classical tradition and repertoire. With Ravel and Skryabin providing a source of inspiration, he has composed restrained, abstract and striking pieces, such as Chants Populaires (to a text by Philippe Beck) commissioned by the Festival and Accentus Ensemble.
