Since 2001, choreographer Faustin Linyekula and the Studios Kabako company have been exploring Congo’s troubled past and uncertain present in shows where individual narratives are interlaced with collective memory. Her last work is an incantation to the future, rooted in Congo’s traditional music, Ndombolo.
