René Pollesch Ich schau dir in die Augen, gesellschaftlicher Verblendungszusammenhang!
[Theatre]
René Pollesch is one of Germany’s most atypical and radical stage directors. His texts are brilliant patchworks, which draw from scientific theory and social criticism. Referring to Adorno’s concept of a “social context of blindness”, his new production caricatures the conventions of interactive theater – which he calls “interpassive” – and our illusionary desire for community.
