Alexander Zeldin
Alexander Zeldin (1985) is a theatre director and playwright. His early years were spent between South Korea, the Middle East, and Russia, before training at the East 15 Acting School, where he also taught from 2011 to 2014. He has collaborated with Peter Brook and has developed a practice that brings together professional and non-professional performers, rooted in contemporary social realities. He created Beyond Caring (2014), followed by LOVE (2016) and Faith, Hope and Charity (2019), a trilogy exploring social inequality that was presented, among other venues, as part of the Festival d’Automne à Paris. In 2022, he created Une mort dans la famille (Death in the Family), his first work in French. In 2023, he presented The Confessions at the Festival d’Automne. He is an associate artist of the National Theatre, the Odéon–Théâtre de l’Europe, the Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, and the CDN de Normandie-Rouen.
