Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon

Under the direction of Cédric Andrieux, the Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon develops a widely recognized practice within the field of contemporary dance, continuing to explore a range of choreographic forms, often among the most demanding and inventive of the current repertoire. The company articulates a dialogue between repertory and creation, while remaining open to research and experimental approaches. It brings together artists from different generations and is inscribed in a continuity of transmission and creation. Rooted in its local context, the Ballet also maintains a strong presence in France and internationally through extensive touring and collaborations with partner venues.
