Marion Siéfert
Marion Siéfert is an author, director and performer. Her work lies at the intersection of several artistic fields and takes shape through various mediums: stage productions, films and writing. In 2015–2016, she developed her first stage production, 2 ou 3 choses que je sais de vous, a portrait of the audience based on their Facebook profiles. From 2017 to 2023, she was an associate artist at La Commune CDN in Aubervilliers. In 2018, she created Le Grand Sommeil there, with the choreographer and performer Helena de Laurens, which was programmed for the 2018 edition of the Festival d’Automne; in March 2019, Pièce d’actualité n°12: DU SALE !, a duet for the rapper Original Laeti and the dancer Janice Bieleu. For this piece, she received the Grand Prix from the jury at the Fast Forward European Festival. Her next piece, _jeanne_dark_, premiered at the 2020 Festival d’Automne, was the first show conceived simultaneously for the theatre and for Instagram. It won the Digital Prize from the Professional Union of Theatre, Music and Dance Critics, with a special mention. Her latest piece, Daddy, co-written with filmmaker Matthieu Bareyre, premiered at the CNDC in Angers and was performed at the Odéon – Théâtre de l’Europe. She collaborates regularly with Matthieu Bareyre. Since 2024, Marion has been an associate artist at T2G, the Centre de Création et de Diffusion (CDN) in Gennevilliers, and at Points-Communs, the Scène nationale in Cergy-Pontoise.
