Maguy Marin Worstward Ho


After May B, inspired by Samuel Beckett’s characters, Maguy Marin adapts Worstward Ho, a monologue in which Beckett probes different stages of exhaustion.
Her choreography is attuned to the rhythm of the text, supported by the implicit references to movement. Françoise Leick’s performance, poised between presence and disappearance, conveys the intermittent images of an unfolding reflection.
