The work of South African stage director and artist Brett Bailey and his company, Third World Bunfight, questions Africa’s post-colonial transformations and probe its multiple
cultures. House of the Holy Afro combines street dance, gospel and shamanic rituals, being based on Bailey’s recordings of tribal ceremonies reworked with electronic beats.
