After presenting in 2024 and 2025 the first two chapters at La Villette, this year the Festival d’Automne presents the third chapter, as well as complete works of the trilogy in conjunction with the Odéon Théâtre de l’Europe.

In 2023, the Brazilian director, writer and performer Carolina Bianchi premiered the first chapter of Trilogia Cadela Força (Trilogy of Bitches) opening up a new chapter in the recent history of contemporary theatre. These works weave a tapestry of a complex nature, used as the basis for exploring the links between sexual violence and their representations via the history of art. The result of eight years of work, this process makes tangible the tension between the search for a language capable of conveying its complexity and the violence inherent in artistic creation. In doing so, it sheds light upon the difficulty of giving shape to what remains fundamentally enigmatic.

Each piece, to be seen either independently or as part of a marathon, is envisaged as a field of study, into the dynamics and influences that each chapter exerts on the others, but also of the limits of working on such subjects over a long period of time. Is it even possible to reach its conclusion, in the wake of the consequences of Boa Noite, Cinderela? Seeing the cycle in its entirety becomes a pressing need, the reason being that each of its three parts are interwoven in such a way that they make for a unique experience, for the audience and artists alike.
