This Carte Blanche has been devised in close collaboration with La Ménagerie de verre.

The nora chipaumire / nhereraHUB Carte Blanche is supported by Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels.

In partnership with Résidence Tallard—a KADIST programme—and MansA—Maison des Mondes Africains.

The Fondation de France is joining forces with the Festival d’Automne to support nora chipaumire’s artistic development.

For one week, nora chipaumire leads a knowledge-sharing workshop in which practice becomes a space for research, reserved for professional and pre-professional practitioners.

Through nhaka (“heritage, inheritance” in Shona, the language of Zimbabwe) – a technique, physical manifesto and decolonial animist practice that she has been developing for more than ten years from Shona culture – she invites participants to experience different ways of inhabiting the body, and to rethink the connections that bind humans to the natural and spiritual worlds.
